Welcome, my name is Lisa Taskov and I have 25 + years of experience in the childcare industry, during this time I have dedicated my career to nurturing young minds and fostering a positive and safe learning environment.
For the past 18 years, I have served as a director

/centre manager where I have honed my leadership skills and developed programs that promote growth and development in children. My passion for early education drives me to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for every child to thrive.
 

Over the last twelve months I have altered course somewhat from a centre based manager level to more of a sector consulting role where I am committed to shaping the future of our youth through quality childcare design, outstanding placement, valuable mentoring  and excellent, informative education.

I am proud of my knowledge base over the years and one of the most valuable pieces of input during my time as a director was being part of two Early Years Learning and Leadership Committees, where our mission was to facilitate a smooth transition for kindergarten/preschool children into school. Drawing from my sector experience, I was a committee member with “PELS” (Peninsula Early Years Learning Strategy) on the Redcliffe Peninsula and the “Early Years Learning Forum” in the Pine Rivers area, through both these programs we hosted quarterly meetings for educators to help develop and extend their knowledge base on smooth transitions, behaviour management, communication, inclusive practices to name just a few. We always backed our discussions on current industry issues and AEDC data, keeping everyone well-informed and actively involved in the sector.
